Glad Tidings for the sick

                  Is there any blessing in the sickness?


wouldn't it be a great surprise to know that your sickness comes up with so many blessings?...does it sound weird?
        what if the most trustworthy and truthful person assures you that your sickness is a blessing, not a curse or bad fortune?
         How many of us feel bad about being sick,going to hospitals and seeking treatments and so on..... but how many of us know the hidden rewards in our illnesses either minor or major?

  how many of us take the disease as "a blessing in a disguise "?

From now, change your mind set and start thinking about the goodness and blessings you have got after getting sick....at least discover one

   I will discuss it later in my future posts (inshaAllah)

     I'm 59 years old and female. I was diagnosed a couple of years ago with COPD and I was beyond scared! My lung function test indicated 49% capacity. After having had flu a year ago, the shortness of breath, coughing and chest pains continued even after being treated with antibiotics. I've been smoking two packs a day for 36 years. Being born without a sternum caused my ribs to be curled in just one inch away from my spine, resulting to underdeveloped lungs. At age 34 I had surgery and it was fixed. Unfortunately my smoking just caused more damage to my already under developed lungs. The problem was having is that I enjoy smoking and don't want to give up! I saw the fear in my husband and children's eyes when I told them about my condition then they start to find solution on their own to help my condition.I am an 59 now who was diagnose COPD emphysema which I know was from my years of smoking. I started smoking in school when smoking was socially acceptable. I remember when smoking was permitted in hospitals. An unexpected diagnosis of Thalassemia major

A True story that I witnessed. While studying medicine during her professional studies she never thought of a disease named Thalassaemia major could affect her own beloved son in future. . Honour your journey

This Ramadan I decided to reflect on my life journey and planned to set the goals and direction for the rest of my life.. I have spent my last 8 years being a mother of thalassemia major son striving to fight thalassemia major (a genetic blood disorder where body doesn't make healthy heamoglobin)and when I am writing this blog by the grace of Almighty he has been treated with bone marrow transplant and it has been a year passed by and Alhamdulillah he is growing well by the grace of Almighty. Alhamdulillah now he is no more dependant on blood transfusion and his body is making hemoglobin of his own Alhamdulillah..still he is on regular follow up and I request you all to pray for his health and  wellness in the long run.
